I get it. Photo sessions can be stressful. ​​Showing up in front of a camera is a lot, and making all those little decisions leading up to it can be exhausting. What should I wear? What should I do about my hair? Which setting should we choose? 

When I launched my photography business, I tried to think about how I can make photo sessions fun and stress-free so my clients can exhale and just enjoy this uninterrupted quality time with their loved ones. 

In addition to helping my clients feel prepared, I go above and beyond to make sure you feel beautiful and taken care of. I'm not shy when it comes to helping you pose and I'll do anything to get a laugh. Let’s make this memory authentic together and get those real, organic smiles.

I’m always honored to be a part of such special and intimate sessions in your home. I live for getting sweet, bundled up photos of newborns and their tiny fingers and toes. We can even meet back at your place a year later for smash cake photos!

Working with Taryn was such a joy! We did a newborn shoot with her. My husband and I have never hired a photographer before (besides our wedding, of course!), so we weren’t really sure of the process or what the outcome would be, but we were impressed by Taryn’s guidance, transparency, and professionalism. My fiancé and I were lucky enough to have Taryn take our engagement photos, and everything about the experience was truly incredible. In the past, my fiancé and I had always felt a bit ‘awkward’ while posing together, but Taryn had a way of making us feel SO comfortable, at ease, natural, and confident as she took our photos. She hyped us up throughout the shoot - and it showed in the results. Not only did she capture our genuine smiles and laughs, but she *created* those smiles and laughs through her warmth and infectious excitement (my fiancé and I both have very obvious fake smiles, so her ability to draw out this authentic happiness made all the difference). 

It’s evident how thoughtful Taryn is in capturing beautiful moments for her clients, and she goes above and beyond to do so. We wanted some cool photos with a specific city view, so Taryn sprinted across the street, stood on the edge of the curb, and excitedly shouted posing tips to us as cars zoomed by, all so that we could get the most epic shot (spoiler alert: we did!). 
When we got the photos back, I immediately was brought to tears. Not only was I in awe of how stunning they were, but seeing the way my fiancé looked at me made me reflect on how thrilled I am to marry him (a heartwarming reminder that’s easy for a bride to forget during the wedding planning phase). My jaw dropped when I saw the magical photos of my fiancé lifting me up for a kiss among the twinkling lights, a pose that I’m SO glad Taryn suggested. These images are more than just “engagement photos”, but these are sweet, special memories that will be used at our upcoming wedding, forever framed in our home, and shared with our future grandkids one day.
