In addition to personalized recommendations for your session, I provide outfit guides, posing tips, shot lists and other tools to help take the stress out of being in front of the camera.

How to Get Started:
- Up to 90 minutes
- Includes lightly styled newborn portraits + lifestyle family portraits
- Minimum 50 digitally enhanced images in an online gallery
- Photographed in the comfort of your home, or with the option to take photos at a scenic location (all locations 20 miles outside of 94941 may include a travel fee)
- Includes a prep guide and shot list, and included props
At-a-Glance:
Inviting a photographer into your home just days after you've given birth can feel really overwhelming. It's hard to fathom how to make it all work between the constant feedings and diaper changes (for baby, and maybe for mom, too).
At the same time, I cannot tell you how often I hear people say "We didn't get newborn photos and we regret it constantly."
As a new mom myself, I do everything I can to make this very worthwhile session stress-free. I arrive at your home with your Starbucks order, backup dresses for mom, newborn swaddles, bows, and little props/baskets. I even offer to hold your baby while you finish getting ready.
I would be honored if you hired me to capture this special, tender, and fleeting moment in time. I'll photograph their tiny little features, and lots of lifestyle family portraits too!

I am based out of Mill Valley, California and I serve clients in the Marin County, Oakland, and San Francisco areas. I am happy to drive outside of these areas, but I do charge an additional travel fee for all photography jobs more than 20 miles outside of the 94941 zip code.

I do occasionally photograph small/intimate weddings and elopements. I do also offer packages for events like birthday parties and rehearsal dinners. Feel free to get in touch for more information and for examples of my work!

How much do you charge?
No, I do not include watermarks on my photos unless it is something we have previously discussed. The photos included in your session package will be ready for downloading and printing upon receipt.
Do you include watermarks on your photos?
At this time, I do not offer retouching for anything permanent about my client’s appearance, such as their body or face shape, or wrinkles. I always strive to capture photos that you love of yourself, and I have many tricks and framing setups to make sure I catch you in your best light. I'll be cheering you on the whole time and love to hype you up and make you feel confident, too :-)

Yes, you will have the ability to print photos directly from my photo gallery website!

My fiancé and I were lucky enough to have Taryn take our engagement photos, and everything about the experience was truly incredible. In the past, my fiancé and I had always felt a bit ‘awkward’ while posing together, but Taryn had a way of making us feel SO comfortable, at ease, natural, and confident as she took our photos. She hyped us up throughout the shoot - and it showed in the results. Not only did she capture our genuine smiles and laughs, but she *created* those smiles and laughs through her warmth and infectious excitement.
